How easy it is for Singapore Muslims to be tricked by the PAP.
They really want to believe that the PAP cares for them. They want to believe that their leaders are fair. They refuse to believe that the PAP is playing them.
And have been playing them over and over and over again.
Let’s look at the latest Palestine “play” for instance.
On 8th October 2023, one day after Hamas retaliated to continued Israeli aggression, PAP leaders fell all over themselves to declare their support for Israel.
Of course, Lee Hsien Loong led the way.
Tharman would not be outdone by Hsien Loong. Like Hsien Loong, he was also “saddened” by Hamas’ retaliation against Israel. But he went one better.
He declared that “the people of Singapore” sent Israel their condolences.
Every Singaporean who stand against Israeli continued, decades long oppression have now, apparently, sent their condolences to Israel too.
Vivian as Foreign Minister had to get on the wagon too. He is not saddened. He is appalled.
Amazingly, Vivian declared that he stands with Israel against terrorism.
How does one stand with terrorists against terrorism? To stand with Israel is to stand with terrorists.
But of course, today, events have changed. The international and domestic public are now Alhamdulillah, squarely against the Israeli terrorist government.
So Tharman, Hsien Loong and Vivian had to send their updates. On 18th October, the three letter writers sent messages to…not Gaza
but the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank.
Once again, Tharman tried to make an excuse for Israel. When he sent his letter to the Israeli President, he talked about “Hamas’” attack on Israel. He did not say anything about Israel’s aggression that resulted in Hamas’ retaliation.
But when he sent his letter to the Palestinian Authority, he did not make a similar statement. Instead of Israeli unfettered attacks on Palestinian civilians, he called it “Israeli military operation”.
No, not even an attack. It is an operation.
And the reason for the “operation”? It was because of Hamas.
So when he wrote to Israel, he did not mention Israeli actions that resulted in Hamas’ response. But when he wrote to the Palestinians, he criticised the Palestinians who responded to Israel.
Lee Hsien Loong similarly wrote to the West Bank authority. Not Gaza.
But unlike Tharman, he did not even mention Israeli actions. It looked as though the “humanitarian situation” and “tragic toll” were due to a natural disaster.
Vivian was no better. In fact, the word “Israel” did not appear anywhere in his letter. It was as though something had happened to the people in Gaza but we do not know what.
Tharman followed his letter with a Facebook post. He argued:
Once again, he laid the blame with Hamas. It is interesting that in this post, where he discussed the issue further, he referred to Palestinians lives “lost”. But for Israelis, they were “killed”.
He admitted that Palestinians felt trauma of the siege by Israel but did not mention that Israel regularly attack and kill Palestinian civilians. As though, bad as it is, the siege is the extent of Israeli oppression against Palestinians.
Does he really not know that Israel regularly kill Palestinians?
Last year, the charity Save the Children reported that 34 Palestinian children in the West Bank were killed by Israeli security forces and settlers.
Does Tharman really believe that the siege is the be-all of Israeli brutality against Palestinians?
To add salt to the wound, all three of these Zionist sympathisers saw it fit to advise the Palestinians in their letters. In their supposed letters of condolences, the three of them told Palestinians that they needed to negotiate for a “two-state” solution .
And yet, when they wrote to Israeli leaders, they did not make the same comments.
Why tell Palestinians they need to negotiate with Israel but not do the same for Israel?
Why make excuses for Israeli “operation” but not do the same for Palestinians?
Why refer to Hamas’ attacks but ignore Israeli decades long massacres?
We know that the PAP government is a Zionist entity. And we know where their loyalties lie.
What is amazing however, is that Singapore Muslims keep praising them for their bias.
When Tharman posted his Fb remarks, Muslims came in droves to thank him.
We can excuse the two commentators above. They did mention Gaza, although as usual, they did not mention Israeli aggression. But they were both PAP leaders/ Ministers. So these comments are expected of them.
But what about other Muslims?
These Muslims really wanted to believe in their PAP leaders. They accepted whatever little bits that are thrown their way. They sing praises for every morsel they get.
It is sad.
How easily they get played.
